What is Comprehensive Review? I’m pasting the definition below, followed by
the 14 criteria the University of California publishes regarding their
admission practices:
Using a process called comprehensive review, the nine University
of California undergraduate campuses look beyond grades and test scores to
evaluate students’ academic achievements in light of the opportunities available
to them, and their demonstrated capacity to contribute to the vitality and
intellectual life at UC.
