colleges that utilize the Common Application also require supplemental
essays for admission consideration. This
additional component is often a surprise to students! Unfortunately, students rush through this
portion without carefully considering the significance. Although the questions vary significantly,
most colleges are seeking the answer to this question: “Why do you want to attend our college?” This workshop helps students avoid three (3)
common mistakes in responding to supplemental prompts. During this workshop, students will walk away
with a “cheat sheet” to help them craft the right
answers to the prompts.
